Bunyip and District Community House Incorporated is a not for profit community organisation overseen by a skills based committee of volunteers. The Community House is managed by dedicated staff committed to providing affordable quality programs for the development of individuals in the community.

The Commhouse was established to promote well-being through a range of health, lifestyle and learning activities, designed to promote social inclusion for members of the Bunyip and surrounding community. The opening ceremony on was conducted on 17th July 2002 and received considerable support from the community. Cardinia Shire Council attendees included acting Mayor Max Papley and Member for Gippsland West, Susan Davies.

When you enter the Bunyip and District Community House, you will be greeted by either our co-ordinator Davina or one of our volunteers or tutors. We make it our aim to ensure that people feel safe, secure and comfortable when they walk through the door - a home away from home where you can always find someone who is happy to have a chat or share a cuppa.

Offering a range of activities, the Commhouse welcomes new members, participants and volunteers. Activities are held either at the Commhouse located at 27 Main St Bunyip or at one a range of other local sites including the Bunyip Hall, Bunyip & Districts Men's Shed, and the Eileen Dawes Activity Centre at the Hillview Bunyip Aged Care facility. Ideas for new activities are encouraged and welcomed. The list of current activities includes:

Services available at the Bunyip and District Community house include computer and internet access, printing and photocopying at affordable rates, and information on local services.
